Located at 4701 N Meridian Ave, Miami Beach, Florida, The Ritz-Carlton Miami Beach offers a sophisticated and luxurious hospitality environment in one of the most vibrant and picturesque coastal cities in the United States. As part of the housekeeping and laundry team, you will play an integral role in maintaining the high standards of comfort, security, and cleanliness that guests and residents expect at this distinguished property.
The Night Shift Houseperson position is a full-time, non-management role that supports the residence and guest services during the overnight hours. Your primary responsibilities include distributing newspapers, delivering packages, clean laundry, and dry-cleaning items to residents, owners, and guests. You will also operate the service elevator as needed, transport luggage and purchases to and from units and other areas, and perform regular inspections of the building and gardens to identify safety hazards, appearance issues, and maintenance needs.
A key aspect of this role is adhering to all company safety policies and procedures, reporting maintenance problems or potential hazards promptly, and maintaining a professional appearance with a neat uniform. You will uphold the privacy of company information and contribute positively by supporting your team members, treating everyone with respect, and helping achieve common goals. Physical activities involved include moving, lifting, and handling objects weighing up to 55 pounds unassisted, navigating confined spaces, elevated areas, stairs, ramps, and inclines, and standing or walking for prolonged periods during your shift.

Job Duties
- Distribute newspapers to residents or guests during the night shift as required
- Deliver packages, clean laundry, and dry-cleaning items to residents, owners, and guests
- Operate the service elevator according to needs
- Transport luggage and purchases to and from units and other areas
- Conduct and document periodic inspections of building and gardens for safety, appearance, and maintenance issues
- Collect and dispose of waste from each residence floor and compactors to the loading dock
- Comply with company security policies and report maintenance problems, safety hazards, accidents, and injuries
