The role being offered is a full-time, non-management Housekeeping and Laundry team member position focused on supporting the Residences' operations at the Miami Beach location. This role is essential for ensuring a pristine environment that exemplifies The Ritz-Carlton’s commitment to luxury, quality, and guest satisfaction. The position is not remote and requires the delivery of newspapers, packages, laundry, and dry-cleaning to Residence owners, tenants, and guests during the overnight shift. Responsibilities extend to manning the service elevator as needed, transporting luggage and groceries to and from units, conducting safety and maintenance inspections of the building and grounds, and removing trash from designated areas. Additionally, the candidate will help maintain inventory levels for supplies and adhere strictly to cleaning schedules and service routines across numerous common and private areas within the property.
As a member of the Housekeeping and Laundry team, you will play a pivotal role in maintaining the impeccable appearance of lobbies, corridors, stairwells, service and common areas, as well as exterior walkways and landscaping grounds. This includes routine waste management, recycling compliance, posting caution signs when necessary, and liaising with other departments to report urgent maintenance needs. Prompt and courteous response to requests from residents and other departments is expected, reinforcing the hotel's culture of exceptional service.
Physical demands of the job include the ability to lift and move objects up to 55 pounds unassisted, safely operate machinery over varied terrain, and perform tasks requiring bending, twisting, stooping, and working on ladders or confined spaces. Candidates must also be able to maintain professional and clean personal appearance and uphold confidentiality standards regarding proprietary information.
The preferred qualifications for this role include at least one year of related work experience in a similar environment. No supervisory experience or formal licensing is required. Education requirements are flexible, with no minimum high school diploma or GED obligatory, emphasizing hands-on capability and dedication.

Job Duties
- Deliver newspapers to residences owner/tenants and guests on the overnight shift
- deliver packages, laundry, and dry-cleaning to residences owner/tenants and guests
- man the service elevator as required
- transport luggage and groceries to and from units and other areas
- perform and document periodic safety and maintenance inspections of the building and grounds
- remove trash from each residences floor and compactor rooms to the loading dock
- comply with all recycling mandates
- maintain inventory of supplies and balance to meet demand levels
- perform scheduled service routines for assigned areas
- maintain overall appearance and prescribed maintenance of lobbies, vestibules, corridors, stairwells, elevator cabs, service and common areas, exterior walkways, drive through areas, loading and storage areas, landscape grounds, waste removal/storage areas, windows, and other common areas
- post caution signs to limit traffic when necessary
- contact other departments for urgent repairs
- respond promptly to requests from residences owner/guests and departments
- identify and report preventative and maintenance issues
- maintain daily, weekly, monthly, and quarterly checklists
