The position available is focused on guest relations and service coordination within The Ritz-Carlton property. This role involves assisting guests and residents by providing accurate directions, information about property amenities, services, hours of operation, and local points of interest. Acting as a pivotal connection point, the incumbent communicates with various departments such as Bellperson, Front Desk, Housekeeping, Engineering, and Security to promptly address guest requests, concerns, or issues. The role requires meticulous attention to detail by recording guest messages clearly and accurately, ensuring follow-up to confirm guest satisfaction. Additionally, this position plays an essential role in maintaining the security and safety of the property by reporting any guest theft or unsafe conditions.

Strong communication skills are vital, as the position requires courteous and clear interaction with guests and employees, both in person and via telephone. Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED equivalent
  • Ability to communicate clearly and professionally
  • Ability to use computers and point of sale systems
  • Ability to stand, sit, or walk for an extended period of time or for an entire work shift
  • Ability to move, lift, carry, push, pull, and place objects weighing less than or equal to 10 pounds without assistance
  • Willingness to follow company and safety and security policies and procedures
  • Ability to work well in a team environment

Job Duties

  • Supply guests and residents with directions and information regarding property amenities, services, and hours of operation
  • Contact appropriate individual or department as necessary to resolve guest call, request, or problem
  • Follow up with guests to ensure their requests or problems have been met to their satisfaction
  • Receive, record, and relay messages accurately, completely, and legibly
  • Notify Loss Prevention/Security of any guest reports of theft
  • Follow all company and safety and security policies and procedures
  • Report accidents, injuries, and unsafe work conditions to manager
