This full-time, non-management role as a Substitute at RC Residences Battery Park in New York, NY, offers an hourly pay range of $30.81 to $41.08. The position falls within the Rooms and Guest Services Operations category and is not located remotely. The role is essential for maintaining the high standards of guest service that The Ritz-Carlton is known for. As a Substitute, you will be responsible for responding promptly to the requests of Residence owners and their guests, including arranging transportation, reservations, and other special services like dry cleaning. You will act as a key point of contact, facilitating visitor access and ensuring adherence to security protocols by verifying and permitting only authorized visitors.
Additional responsibilities include answering calls, recording messages, and coordinating with various departments such as Engineering, Bell Services, and Housekeeping to resolve issues efficiently. You will assist with reservation services and help schedule elevator use for resident move-ins and move-outs, as well as provide Bell and Valet services upon request. The Substitute also performs Lobby Ambassador duties, documents essential shift information, and ensures compliance with safety protocols by reporting incidents and completing necessary training. This role requires maintaining a professional appearance and demeanor at all times, upholding confidentiality, and demonstrating excellent communication skills both verbally and in writing.

Job Requirements

- Minimum 1 year of related work experience
- Ability to stand sit or walk for extended periods
- Ability to move lift carry push pull objects up to 10 pounds without assistance

Job Duties
- Respond to Residence owners and guests requests for information services arrangements
- Announce and permit access only to authorized visitors and implement access in key track system
- Answer record and process calls messages requests questions or concerns
- Coordinate with appropriate departments to resolve requests or problems
- Assist with Owners reservation services and scheduling elevator use
- Perform Lobby Ambassador tasks and document shift information
- Report incidents accidents and unsafe conditions and complete safety training
