The role of the Residence Ambassador at The Ritz-Carlton focuses on providing impeccable service to Residence owners and their guests by responding promptly and efficiently to their requests. This position involves handling a variety of special arrangements such as transportation, reservations, dry cleaning, and other personalized services by coordinating with appropriate providers. The Residence Ambassador is responsible for addressing the unique needs of Residence owners and their guests, following through to ensure high satisfaction levels. The role also includes gathering and sharing comprehensive information about the property and surrounding area amenities, including details about special events and activities.

In addition to managing visitor access and announcements, the Residence Ambassador handles calls, messages, and requests efficiently, liaising with departments like Engineering, Bell Services, and Housekeeping to resolve issues as they arise. The position requires assisting with owner reservations, scheduling elevators for move-ins and move-outs, and coordinating Bell and Valet services for vehicles. Performing Lobby Ambassador duties, reviewing daily logs, reporting incidents or unsafe conditions, and maintaining strict adherence to company policies and standards are key parts of the job. The candidate must consistently uphold the highest standards of The Ritz-Carlton service excellence.

This position demands professionalism, clear and courteous communication, confidentiality, and teamwork. The Residence Ambassador must be able to stand, sit, or walk for extended periods and occasionally move objects weighing up to 10 pounds. This full-time role does not require supervisory experience but does require at least one year of related work experience and a minimum of a high school diploma or GED equivalent. Job Duties

  • Respond to Residence owners' and guests' requests for visitor information and special arrangements
  • Make arrangements or identify appropriate service providers
  • Follow up on special requests to ensure satisfaction
  • Gather and provide information about property and surrounding amenities
  • Announce and authorize visitors and update the key track system
  • Answer and process calls, messages, and requests
  • Coordinate with departments to resolve issues
  • Assist with owner reservation services and elevator scheduling
  • Support Bell and Valet services for owners
