Job Description
The Ritz-Carlton, located in Tampa, Florida, is a globally recognized luxury hotel brand that operates under the umbrella of Marriott International. Known for its commitment to exceptional hospitality and superior guest experiences, The Ritz-Carlton emphasizes a culture of excellence, creativity, and compassion. With over 100 award-winning properties worldwide, the company has established itself as a leader in the luxury hospitality industry by setting new standards for service, comfort, and professionalism. Situated at 2912 W Santiago St, Tampa, The Ritz-Carlton Tampa provides an upscale lodging and service experience designed to cater to discerning guests and Residence owners who expect nothing but the best.
This position is a full-time, non-management role within the Rooms & Guest Services Operations category, focused on delivering outstanding service to Residence owners and their guests. As a team member, your main responsibility is to act as a vital point of contact for Residence owners and guests, responding promptly and accurately to their requests for various services such as transportation, reservations, and dry cleaning. This involves identifying appropriate service providers, making necessary arrangements, and ensuring a follow-up to promote satisfaction. Additionally, you will provide detailed information about the property amenities and local area attractions, including special events and activities, enriching the guests' overall experience.
The role also includes essential security and access control duties, such as announcing visitors and contractors to Residence owners, verifying authorizations, and managing access through the key track system. Efficient communication is a must, as this position handles incoming calls, messages, and concerns, coordinating with other hotel departments like Engineering, Housekeeping, and Bell Services to resolve issues and provide seamless service. You will assist with reservation services using the hotel reservation system (HRS), support elevator scheduling for move-ins and move-outs, and help manage valet and bell services related to owners' vehicles.
Beyond guest services, this position involves performing Lobby Ambassador tasks and maintaining accurate documentation by reviewing shift logs and daily memos. Safety and compliance are critical components of the job, requiring reporting of incidents and unsafe conditions, completing required safety training and certifications, and adhering strictly to all company policies and procedures. Professional appearance, confidentiality, and protecting company assets are fundamental expectations.
In embodying The Ritz-Carlton Gold Standards, this role emphasizes welcoming and acknowledging Residence owners and guests warmly and professionally, anticipating their needs, assisting those with disabilities, and maintaining genuine appreciation in all interactions. Clear communication, accurate documentation, and a spirit of teamwork are vital to fostering positive working relationships and achieving collective goals. Physical requirements include the ability to stand, sit, or walk for extended periods and to handle objects weighing up to 10 pounds.
Joining The Ritz-Carlton means becoming part of a world-renowned team dedicated to crafting lifelong memories for guests through rare and special luxury service. This opportunity not only allows you to contribute to an esteemed brand but also to grow personally and professionally within Marriott International’s respected portfolio. The company is committed to diversity, equity, and inclusion, valuing the unique backgrounds of its associates and promoting a workplace free from discrimination. This is a chance to be proud of your work, embrace your purpose, belong to a global team, and become the best version of yourself.
