Job Description

The Ritz-Carlton is a premier luxury hotel brand operating under Marriott International, known globally for its exceptional service standards and commitment to excellence in hospitality. With over 100 award-winning properties worldwide, The Ritz-Carlton sets the benchmark for rare and special luxury experiences that create lasting memories for guests and residents alike. Situated at 1 Renaissance Square in White Plains, New York, this property exemplifies the brand's dedication to delivering personalized guest services while ensuring comfort, elegance, and exceptional care. As part of the Marriott portfolio, The Ritz-Carlton blends a rich culture of inclusion, respect, and empowerment, fostering an environment that welcomes diverse backgrounds and talents to contribute meaningfully to its legacy of service excellence. The organization not only values individual creativity and compassion but also actively promotes a collaborative workplace where team success is paramount. Notably, this role is a full-time, non-management position with a competitive pay range of $31.83 to $32.93 per hour, preferred for overnight shift availability to better serve its residential owners and their guests.

This role, located on-site and not remote, is pivotal in upholding The Ritz-Carlton's renowned Gold Standards of service excellence by functioning as the critical first point of contact for Residence owners and their guests. The primary responsibility is to respond thoughtfully and effectively to requests for visitor information, special services like transportation arrangements and reservations, and to handle unique needs requiring follow-up for complete satisfaction. The individual will also be instrumental in managing visitor access by verifying and announcing all visitors, ensuring security and exclusivity according to the established key track system. Additionally, this position actively coordinates with various hotel departments—including engineering, bell services, and housekeeping—to resolve inquiries, requests, or issues promptly, ensuring seamless service delivery.

Essential duties further include assisting with the scheduling of elevator use for move-ins and move-outs, as well as supporting bell and valet services when requested by residence owners. Acting as a Lobby Ambassador, the role demands maintaining meticulous logs and memos to document activities and important information during shifts. Besides these operational responsibilities, the position requires vigilant reporting of safety incidents, adherence to company policies and personal professionalism standards, protection of proprietary information and assets, and delivering warm, respectful greetings and assistance to all individuals in line with company standards. The role requires excellent communication abilities, including telephone etiquette and written documentation accuracy, to foster clear and professional exchanges with guests and team members alike. Physical demands include standing, sitting, or walking for extended periods during shifts and safely handling items up to ten pounds.

Joining this team means becoming part of a global community committed to luxury hospitality excellence, where every employee contributes to creating memorable, gracious experiences. The Ritz-Carlton emphasizes ongoing learning and embodies its core Gold Standards through the Employee Promise, Credo, and Service Values. This foundation not only drives individual and team success but also solidifies The Ritz-Carlton's reputation as a leader in luxury service worldwide. Candidates can expect a supportive environment that encourages their professional growth to become the best version of themselves while delivering unmatched satisfaction to a distinguished clientele.
