The Ritz-Carlton is a globally recognized luxury hotel brand known for its exceptional service standards, distinctive culture, and commitment to creating memorable experiences for its guests. With over 100 award-winning hotels worldwide, The Ritz-Carlton continuously strives to provide the highest level of luxury and comfort. It is part of the prestigious Marriott International portfolio, which offers unparalleled career growth opportunities and a diverse, inclusive work environment. The brand's hallmark 'Standards of Gold' guide all team members in delivering superior service every day, emphasizing kindness, attentiveness, and professionalism.
This position is located at 801 Key Hwy, Baltimore, Maryland, United States, within The Ritz-Carlton's Residence operations. The role is part-time and non-management, offering an hourly wage of $20.00. As a member of the Rooms and Guest Services Operations team, you will play a critical role in ensuring that Residence owners and their guests receive exceptional service and support during their stay. Your responsibilities will include responding promptly and effectively to owner inquiries about visitor information, special services like transportation, reservations, and laundry, and coordinating with appropriate service providers. You will also manage visitor access, ensuring security and proper authorization for all individuals entering the Residence.
In this role, you will be expected to deliver a welcoming and personalized guest experience consistent with The Ritz-Carlton's high standards. This includes anticipating and meeting service needs, handling special requests, and ensuring complete satisfaction for Residence owners and their guests. Effective communication is essential, as you will handle calls, messages, and requests while collaborating with various hotel departments such as engineering, housekeeping, and valet services to resolve issues and fulfill service requests.
Additionally, you will support reservation services and elevator bookings for resident entry and exit, assist with valet vehicle requests, and perform ambassador duties in the lobby. Maintaining accurate daily logs and documenting pertinent information is part of your administrative responsibilities. Safety is a priority, so you'll report any accidents, injuries, or hazardous conditions and complete required safety training and certifications.
The Ritz-Carlton expects all team members to uphold company policies, present a professional appearance, protect confidential information, and contribute to a positive work environment. The role demands physical stamina, as it involves standing, sitting, or walking for extended periods and handling light lifting up to 10 pounds. Experience in customer service, hospitality, or related fields is valuable, with a minimum of one year recommended. A high school diploma or equivalent is required.
Joining The Ritz-Carlton means becoming part of a world-class team dedicated to excellence and continuous improvement. You'll benefit from a workplace culture that values diversity, inclusion, and employee growth, with access to comprehensive benefits designed to support your well-being and professional development. This is an excellent opportunity for individuals passionate about delivering luxury service and eager to build a rewarding career in the hospitality industry.
