We are currently seeking a talented and passionate professional to lead our Reservations & Sales team at The Langham, Boston. This role focuses on driving service excellence and revenue growth by targeting groups and social markets while aligning with LHG’s culture and values. The successful candidate will collaborate closely with the Revenue Management team to ensure the effective execution of pricing, inventory, and distribution strategies. This leadership position requires a proactive approach to overseeing daily operations, coaching team members, and optimizing systems and processes to enhance booking accuracy, call quality, and conversion rates.
As the Reservations & Sales team leader, you will be responsible for monitoring market conditions and competitor activities to maintain a competitive edge. You will manage scheduling, payroll, staffing, and commission processing to align with business needs efficiently. Your role will also include fostering a team culture centered on service excellence, accountability, and sales through service. Development and training are integral aspects of this position, as you'll support your team's growth through structured plans and ensure all guest interactions reflect the luxury standards synonymous with The Langham brand.

Job Requirements
- Legally authorized to work in the United States
- Minimum 2 years of supervisory or management experience in Reservations or Front Office in a luxury hotel
- Proficient in Shiji, Synxis, third-party OTA extranets, Onyx, Word, Excel, Powerpoint
- Ability to manage priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Operational leadership with strong attention to detail
- Service-driven mindset with sales awareness
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Effective communication and team leadership
- Digital dexterity for computer and software applications
Job Qualifications
- Undergraduate degree preferred
- Minimum 2 years of supervisory or management experience in Reservations or Front Office in a luxury hotel

Job Duties
- Partner with Revenue Management to ensure accurate execution of pricing, inventory, and distribution strategies within the reservations function
- Focus on maximizing conversion, call quality, and booking accuracy
- Monitor booking trends, call patterns, and channel production to identify opportunities to improve efficiency and conversion
- Maintain awareness of market conditions and competitor activity to support informed selling practices
- Ensure all rates, packages, and promotions are correctly loaded and consistently reflected across all booking channels
- Oversee daily Reservations Department operations, ensuring accuracy, efficiency, and adherence to brand standards
- Monitor call quality, conversion rates, and team productivity, addressing gaps through coaching and process improvement
