We are currently seeking a Reservations Assistant Manager to join the prestigious team at Jumeirah The Red Sea. This significant role involves overseeing and managing the reservations department to ensure optimum service delivery, commercial performance, and operational efficiency. The Reservations Assistant Manager will lead efforts to meet key performance indicators aligned with quality standards and customer service excellence. The role requires close collaboration with Sales, Revenue, and Hotel Operations teams to maximize revenue opportunities and minimize inefficiencies. Key responsibilities include supervising daily and periodic tasks such as reservations management, audits, revenue monitoring, compliance adherence, finance coordination, visa processing, and group bookings. The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor’s Degree in Hotel Management, several years of relevant reservations management experience, and a demonstrated ability to lead a team while paying meticulous attention to detail. Job Requirements

  • hold a bachelor's degree in hotel management from an accredited and renowned university
  • have 3 - 4 years of experience as reservations assistant manager or similar role in hospitality
  • have qualification in revenue management desirable
  • demonstrate excellent knowledge of PMS systems
  • show leadership and attention to details skills

Job Duties

  • ensure the delivery of internal and external service, quality, and commercial performance aligned with reservations KPI objectives
  • collaborate with sales, revenue, and hotel operations teams to maximize revenue opportunities and minimize operational inefficiencies
  • supervise and ensure completion of daily, weekly, and monthly tasks related to reservations, audits, revenue, compliance, finance, visas, and group bookings
  • identify and escalate risks related to revenue, finance, and guest experience to senior management for proactive resolution
  • monitor and resolve guest complaints promptly by coordinating with relevant departments to ensure a satisfactory resolution
  • keep the department updated with property information, service offerings, new rates, and selling strategies to enhance operational efficiency
