Job Description
Jumeirah is a global leader in luxury hospitality and a prestigious member of Dubai Holding, known for its exceptional portfolio of 29 properties spanning 11 countries across the Middle East, Europe, and Asia. Since its inception in 1999 with the opening of the iconic Jumeirah Burj Al Arab, the brand has revolutionized luxury hospitality, becoming synonymous with elegance, innovative design, and world-class service. Jumeirah properties include distinguished beachfront resorts, esteemed city hotels, and exclusive residences that cater to discerning travelers seeking premium experiences.
The brand is renowned for its distinctive locations such as the contemporary Maldivian island paradise at Jumeirah Olhahali Island, the art-inspired Jumeirah Capri Palace in Italy, and the modern reinterpretation of British tradition at Jumeirah Carlton Tower in London. Each property reflects a commitment to delivering warm, generous service and crafting authentic, purposeful experiences that bring joy and lasting memories to guests worldwide. Emphasizing a blend of cultural diversity, sustainability, and ultra-luxury, Jumeirah sets itself apart in the highly competitive hospitality landscape.
An exciting career opportunity has arisen for a Reservations Assistant Manager to join Jumeirah The Red Sea, a remarkable property that continues the brand's tradition of excellence. This role plays a crucial part in ensuring efficient reservation operations while contributing to the overall commercial success and guest satisfaction of this luxury resort.
The Reservations Assistant Manager will be responsible for driving the delivery of internal and external service standards, with a focus on achieving Reservations Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) which include quality, service, and commercial performance. Collaboration with Sales, Revenue, and Hotel Operations teams is essential to maximize revenue streams while minimizing operational inefficiencies, demonstrating the strategic nature of this position within the property's ecosystem.
In addition, the role requires supervising the completion of daily, weekly, and monthly reservations-related tasks that span audits, revenue management, compliance, finance, visas, and group bookings. The assistant manager must proactively identify risks impacting revenue, finance, or guest experience and escalate them to senior management for timely resolution. Handling guest complaints with professionalism and promptness by coordinating with relevant departments is also a vital responsibility.
Staying abreast of updated property information, new service offerings, rate changes, and selling strategies remains a continuous priority, enhancing the department’s operational efficiency and ensuring an impeccable guest experience. This position demands leadership qualities, attention to detail, and a thorough understanding of PMS (Property Management Systems) along with a passion for luxury hospitality service delivery.
Jumeirah invites candidates with a background in hotel management, preferably holding a Bachelor's degree from a reputable university, along with 3 to 4 years of relevant experience as a Reservations Assistant Manager or in a similar role. Candidates with knowledge or certification in Revenue Management will find it particularly advantageous. This role offers a rewarding chance to grow within a prestigious global hospitality brand, working alongside dedicated professionals committed to excellence and innovation.
