Guests who stay at The Jefferson Hotel can expect nothing less than a refined and memorable visit, supported by a dedicated team focused on delivering personalized attention at every touchpoint.

The Front Office team at The Jefferson Hotel plays a fundamental role in shaping guest experiences from the moment of inquiry through to departure. We are currently seeking a polished and service-driven PBX Operator and Reservations Agent to join this dynamic team in a full-time capacity. As a PBX Operator and Reservations Agent, you will handle reservation management, accurately process bookings and changes, operate the multi-line PBX phone system, and provide timely, professional information to guests about room types, hotel amenities, dining options, and local attractions.

This opportunity requires a candidate who is highly organized, detail-oriented, and capable of multitasking in a fast-paced, guest-centric setting. The ideal individual maintains a professional and polished demeanor in all interactions, whether in person or over the phone, ensuring each guest feels valued and well-informed. Flexibility in work hours is a key aspect of this position, as the role covers shifts from 8 am to 9 pm across any day of the week, including weekends and holidays, with the ability to work opening and closing shifts based on business needs.

The successful PBX Operator and Reservations Agent will also be a proactive communicator and collaborator, working closely with departments such as Housekeeping, Concierge, Engineering, and Food & Beverage to ensure that guest requests are fulfilled promptly and accurately. Maintaining confidentiality and professionalism when handling guest records and sensitive information is paramount. Additionally, the role involves supporting administrative tasks and generating operational reports to contribute to the smooth management of the Front Office.

Working at The Jefferson Hotel means joining a team that values professionalism, communication, and a sincere service orientation. Employees receive special benefits including employee meals, complimentary parking, and potential growth opportunities within the hotel. This position not only offers a rewarding career path in the luxury hospitality industry but also the chance to be part of a team dedicated to creating memorable guest experiences in one of Richmond's most esteemed hotels.
