The hotel offers a blend of modern amenities, sophisticated accommodations, and a vibrant event space, catering to both business and leisure travelers. The establishment prides itself on fostering a dynamic, team-oriented environment that emphasizes guest satisfaction, operational excellence, and continuous innovation. With a reputation for delivering superior service, Hyatt Regency Santa Clara serves as a preferred destination for travelers seeking both comfort and efficiency during their stay.

By leveraging strong system knowledge and communication skills, the coordinator facilitates the smooth execution of reservation-related processes.

This role demands a balance between technical proficiency and interpersonal skills, requiring the individual to manage complex reservation systems while proactively coordinating with various hotel departments. The ideal candidate demonstrates a deep understanding of revenue optimization practices and is adept at using sales techniques to maximize hotel revenue without compromising guest experience. Responsibilities include generating and auditing daily reservation reports to confirm booking accuracy and preparedness, performing routine reservation tasks, and handling guest concerns professionally and efficiently. Additionally, the coordinator manages group reservations, including rooming list entry, room blocking, rate and inventory setup, and liaising with the Sales and Events Team to ensure all client requests and changes are timely addressed.

Candidates for this role should be experienced in hospitality, preferably with hands-on knowledge of Hyatt reservation systems such as Reserve and Opera. The position requires at least one year of hotel experience, strong organizational skills, and the ability to work under pressure while multitasking. Attention to confidentiality and discretion concerning guest data is paramount. The Reservations Coordinator must also be adaptable, capable of working holidays, weekends, and special event dates as needed. Typing skills of 45 words per minute or more are expected to handle the volume of communication efficiently.

In summary, the Reservations Coordinator position at Hyatt Regency Santa Clara offers a stimulating and rewarding opportunity for hospitality professionals who excel in operational accuracy, customer service, and cross-departmental collaboration. This role not only supports the hotel's revenue goals but also plays a crucial role in enhancing the overall guest experience through effective reservation management and communication.
