Established decades ago, U-Haul has grown to become the leading provider of do-it-yourself moving tools and equipment, including truck and trailer rentals, storage units, and moving supplies. U-Haul's reputation is built on its commitment to customer service, quality equipment, and affordable solutions that empower individuals and families to manage their own relocations with confidence. The company operates through a vast network of dealerships and company-owned locations, providing products and services to millions of customers every year.
Located at 2908 N Main St, High Point, North Carolina, this U-Haul location is seeking a dedicated Reservation Manager Agent. This role is an integral part of the customer service and operational team, reporting to the Traffic Control Manager. It is designed for individuals who thrive in a fast-paced and dynamic work environment and who enjoy working collaboratively in a team setting. The Reservation Manager Agent position focuses on supporting customers, field team members, and U-Haul dealerships in managing reservations and the distribution of equipment effectively. This role involves a blend of customer interaction, logistical coordination, and operational support to ensure that equipment is allocated efficiently to meet varying market demands.
U-Haul offers career stability and personal and professional growth opportunities within its extensive organization. Employees in this role can expect a supportive work environment that values results-oriented performance and outstanding customer service. The company has a strong culture of health and wellness, maintaining policies such as not hiring individuals who use nicotine products in many states, which aligns with its goal of fostering a healthy workplace. U-Haul embraces diversity and inclusion, offering equal employment opportunities regardless of race, color, religion, sex, national origin, disability, or veteran status.
The Reservation Manager Agent's duties include assisting with calls to and from customers, helping field teams and dealerships with equipment and reservation management, and directing equipment based on customer demand and regional productivity. This involves reviewing reports critical to equipment placement and reservation accuracy and supporting U-Haul's unique U-Box portable storage product. The role requires proficiency in customer service, multitasking, and time management skills, along with familiarity with office equipment like multiline phones and common software programs.
For those seeking a role that combines customer service with operational coordination in a company known for growth and innovation, U-Haul provides a promising opportunity.
