The role of Reservation Manager at The Bostonian is an exciting opportunity for a hospitality professional eager to lead a dynamic team while making a tangible impact on guest satisfaction and revenue performance. The position offers up to $75,000 annually and is based onsite in Boston, MA. Job Requirements
- passion for hospitality and delivering exceptional service
- strong communication and interpersonal skills
- ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with cross-functional teams
Job Qualifications
- previous experience in hotel reservations, hospitality, front office, or customer service preferred
- strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- familiarity with PMS systems such as Opera and Windsurfer preferred
- high school diploma or equivalent required
- associate or bachelor's degree in hospitality management, business, or related field preferred
Job Duties
- lead day-to-day reservation operations
- support team performance and service standards
- ensure accurate bookings and timely processing
- process travel agent and group commissions monthly
- monitor room inventory, availability, and rate accuracy
- review group room blocks and coordinate with sales
- attend weekly revenue and sales meetings to track bookings and cut-off dates
