We are currently expanding our Voice Ordering Live Operations team and seeking passionate individuals to join us as Voice Ordering Accessibility Representatives based in Tempe, Arizona. This role is a full-time, in-office position for the first 90 days, with the possibility of a hybrid schedule afterward based on business needs. As part of the Voice Ordering team, you will play a critical role in supporting DoorDash’s partner merchants and millions of customers by handling inbound live order calls. This position operates within a 24/7/365 environment, requiring flexibility to work evenings, overnight shifts, weekends, and holidays. Additionally, due to PCI/DSS compliance regulations, strict policies on cell phone usage are enforced.
In this role, you will develop expertise in DoorDash’s ordering processes and systems, driving positive outcomes for customers. You will support customers with accessibility needs, including those who are visually impaired, ensuring an optimal and inclusive ordering experience. Your responsibilities will include assisting with accurate order placement, offering local restaurant recommendations, securely updating important account information such as emails and credit card details, and providing vital feedback to improve the overall customer journey. Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 1-2 years of customer service experience
- Strong communication skills
- Ability to handle high-pressure, time-sensitive situations
- Flexibility to work varying schedules including evenings, overnight, weekends, and holidays
- Willingness to work full-time from Tempe, AZ office initially
- Compliance with PCI/DSS policies and procedures
- Ability to securely handle sensitive customer information
Job Qualifications
- 1-2 years of customer service experience via phone, email, or chat
- Strong written and verbal communication skills including grammar, spelling, and punctuation
- Experience in customer-facing roles
- Ability to remain calm under pressure and troubleshoot problems efficiently
- Experience offering customers products or services that meet their needs
- Comfortable working in a PCI/DSS environment
- Reside within a commutable distance to Tempe, AZ
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
