Located conveniently for both local and visiting shoppers, it serves as a bustling hub for retail activity and customer engagement. This position is truly vital as it serves as the front line for Simon Property Group's interaction with guests at The Mills at Jersey Gardens. The role is designed as a temporary customer service and sales agent position for 90 days, with the potential to become permanent depending on business needs and the individual's performance. As a customer service representative and sales agent, you will play a crucial role in serving as a primary point of contact for guests seeking information or assistance. Providing miscellaneous services, including sales transactions, especially of Simon Gift Cards and other payment products, you will be responsible not only for customer engagement but also for overseeing daily financial management tasks such as deposits and reconciliations for all sales initiatives. The position demands a professional appearance and attentiveness in maintaining the physical environment of Simon Guest Services, ensuring that marketing materials, signage, and displays are current, relevant, and appealing.

An important function of this role is the ability to respond to inquiries from both guests and retailers and guide them toward appropriate solutions. This requires flexibility, problem-solving skills, and adherence to corporate guidelines around cash handling and operational protocols for POS and other income-generating initiatives. Additionally, capturing supplemental customer data such as email addresses, mobile details, or charity donations is part of enhancing customer interaction and loyalty.

Job Requirements

Job Duties

  • Represent Simon to guests by providing high quality, efficient, friendly, and energetic service
  • deliver on all Simon Service initiatives and provide excellent service to guests
  • serve as seller of Simon Gift Card program and other payment products
  • oversee daily financial management including deposit and reconciliation of all initiatives sold at Simon Guest Services
  • maintain a professional physical appearance of Simon Guest Services including marketing materials, signage, and displays
  • respond to guest and retailer inquiries and advise on appropriate resolutions
  • implement and follow all cash handling procedures per corporate guidelines
  • capture additional information from consumers such as email or mobile information and charity donations
  • provide support and assistance to co-workers and other departments
  • participate in team meetings and efforts to implement the center's projects and achieve goals
  • ensure compliance with all policies and procedures related to Simon programs
  • execute tourism initiatives including individual and group tours, VIP Shopper program enrollments and tracking
  • maintain confidentiality and follow the code of ethics
