Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous customer service or hospitality experience preferred
- Ability to communicate effectively in English
- Must be able to lift up to 40 pounds
- Ability to stand and walk for prolonged periods
- Comfortable working in noisy, crowded environments
- Able to work flexible hours including nights, weekends, and holidays
- Must be able to assist guests with mobility needs
- Must adhere to safety protocols
- Ability to perform physical tasks such as stooping, bending, climbing stairs
- Willingness to attend training sessions
- Reliable and punctual
- Positive attitude towards teamwork and guest service
Job Qualifications
- Previous experience in customer service, hospitality, entertainment, or guest services preferred
- Experience leading a team of team members preferred
- Strong verbal, written communication and interpersonal skills
- Positive and energetic attitude
- Ability to multitask in fast-paced environments
- Comfortable working in large crowds and loud settings
- Flexible schedule availability including nights, weekends, and holidays
- Physical ability to stand, walk, climb stairs, and maneuver in indoor/outdoor environments
Job Duties
- Provide support to guests across all Hollywood Park venues
- Serve in roles such as ticket taker, mobility assistance, premium concierge, bag valet, guest service centers, elevator/escalator operator, usher, and directional support
- Possess extensive knowledge of venue layouts, seating sections, access control, key personnel, emergency procedures, and surrounding campus
- Assist guests and team members with wayfinding and informational needs
- Uphold ticket scanning and wristbanding integrity
- Maintain aisles and direct guests to seating locations
- Resolve guest complaints and respond to inquiries
- Provide assistance for guests with mobility issues including wheelchair transportation
- Manage access control and provide information in premium areas and special/private events
- Liaise with command center and key stakeholders to exchange information and escalate issues
- Support critical incidents and emergencies with ticket verification and facility knowledge
- Contribute to a world-class guest experience demonstrating S.T.A.R.S. commitments
- Perform job duties safely and efficiently without accepting gifts or monetary items
- Attend department or company training as needed
- Perform other duties as assigned
- Adjust duties as needed based on department and company requirements
