The role of a Driver at FleetLogix is an essential position responsible for the transportation and movement of customer fleet vehicles across various locations. Drivers operate primarily within rental car lots but may occasionally manage tasks off-site. The Driver's responsibilities include moving cars within the premises, coordinating with dispatch for vehicle deliveries, and preparing vehicles according to specific customer policies to ensure readiness for rental. This position offers a competitive hourly wage of $18.15, with shifts available from 2 pm to 10:30 pm, Monday through Friday. Job Requirements
- Minimum hiring age
- Valid state issued Driver's License with satisfactory driving record
- Previous driving experience
- Pass background check
- Pass drug screening
- Pass driver safety skills test
- Physical ability to get in and out of vehicles repeatedly
- Ability to walk long distances and stand for extended periods
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
- Compliance with DMV restrictions such as wearing corrective lenses while driving
Job Qualifications
- Applicant must meet minimum hiring age
- Possess a valid state issued Driver's License with satisfactory driving record
- Previous driving experience required
- Ability to pass background check, drug screening, and driver safety skills test
- Demonstrate reliability, strong work ethic, and dependability
- Open availability is preferred
Job Duties
- Drive cars from one location to another on the rental car lot premises
- Drive rental car returns to the car wash or quick turn area usually on the same lot or occasionally off site
- Operate the motor vehicle in accordance with all company and customer policies and state motor vehicle laws
- Respond to directions given by dispatch to deliver vehicles to the appropriate location
- Maintain strong customer service, both internally and externally
- Follow specific customer policies for preparing vehicles for rental
- Meet productivity standards and benchmarks in assigned location
- Move vehicles that are out of service to an outside facility when necessary
- Perform other duties as assigned
