As a Rental Car Cleaner, the primary responsibility is to ensure the cleanliness and presentation of fleet vehicles to guarantee they are rental-ready for customers. The role involves detailed cleaning of both the interior and exterior of rental cars, adhering to company productivity standards and safety protocols. Cleaners play a vital part in enhancing customer experience by maintaining vehicles in an aesthetically pleasing condition and ensuring the fleet remains in optimal condition for rental use.
The position demands careful attention to detail as well as a strong work ethic and dependability. Ideal candidates are those who can maintain a steady pace to meet productivity benchmarks and are comfortable with occasional driving tasks within the lot premises. This job is physically demanding, requiring frequent movement in and around cars, long periods of standing, bending, and occasional lifting of weights up to 50 pounds. Job Requirements
- applicant must be at least 21 years of age
- have a valid state issued driver's license with satisfactory driving record
- prior driving experience required
- must pass a background check, drug screening and driver safety skills test
- able to work flexible hours with open availability
- able to stand, bend, kneel, stoop, crouch, or crawl for extended periods
- able to occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds
- reliable and dependable in job performance
Job Qualifications

Job Duties
- wash and clean both exterior and interior of vehicles with care and attention to prepare them for customer rentals
- count vehicles and update tracking documents
- meet productivity standards and benchmarks in assigned location
- efficiently and correctly operate data entry devices
- maintain a clean and safe service island
- report and submit all lost and found items to designated area
- drive vehicle from one location to another on the rental car lot premises
- other duties as assigned
