Job Description
Liberty Mutual Insurance is a leading global insurer with a strong reputation for delivering comprehensive insurance products and outstanding customer service. As a Fortune 100 company, Liberty Mutual has a deep commitment to innovation, diversity, and inclusion, making it an ideal workplace for individuals seeking to build a meaningful and rewarding career in insurance sales. The company operates primarily in the property and casualty insurance sector, offering products that help protect individuals and businesses against risks and uncertainties. With a well-established market presence across the United States and a robust support system for its employees, Liberty Mutual is dedicated to fostering growth, development, and success for its workforce.
Joining Liberty Mutual as an Inside Sales Representative offers a unique opportunity to be part of a dynamic sales team focused on inbound sales, where representatives handle warm leads and inbound calls rather than cold calling. This position is designed to support and train motivated individuals who are passionate about helping customers find the right insurance solutions to meet their needs. The role begins with paid training and licensing opportunities, enabling candidates to earn a Property and Casualty Insurance license if they don’t already possess one. Training spans 16 weeks for licensed hires and 18 weeks for unlicensed hires, providing extensive knowledge and skills necessary for success in this competitive industry.
Employees in this role work remotely, equipped with company-provided computer equipment, and must maintain a professional workspace with a high-speed wired internet connection. Shift options require availability for four weekdays and one weekend day, with evening shifts designed to accommodate work-life balance. Liberty Mutual values a collaborative and empowering work environment, supporting employees with flexible work arrangements and a culture that emphasizes integrity, customer-centric selling, and professional growth.
The compensation package starts with a base salary of $45,000, supplemented by commissions that enable average earnings between $55,000 and $75,000. High performers have the potential to earn $85,000 or more after their second year. Additional benefits include comprehensive medical coverage from day one, paid time off, flexible scheduling, and opportunities for rewards and recognition. Liberty Mutual’s inclusive culture ensures every employee’s contributions are valued, and the company provides a supportive framework through Employee Resource Groups and continuous professional development.
Overall, this role is perfect for individuals with a persuasive personality, strong interpersonal skills, and a passion for sales and customer service. It’s a chance to launch a career in a stable industry with abundant prospects for advancement and financial reward, all while making a positive impact by helping customers protect what matters most.
