The company operates with the mission of helping people preserve and protect what they earn, with a strong emphasis on leveraging advanced technology and data insights to improve customer experiences and deliver tailored solutions. Liberty Mutual values diversity, equity, and inclusion, fostering a workplace where every employee can thrive and contribute meaningfully. Employees benefit from comprehensive support, from professional development opportunities to robust benefits packages.
Liberty Mutual is currently hiring Inside Sales Representatives for its Contact Center Sales Organization as part of its 2026 hiring cohorts starting in August and September. This role is designed for motivated, people-oriented individuals ready to start a career in insurance sales. The position provides extensive paid training and licensing in Property and Casualty Insurance, catering to both licensed and unlicensed candidates. Training spans 16 weeks for licensed hires and 18 weeks for unlicensed hires, ensuring thorough preparation. The Inside Sales Representative primarily handles inbound calls and warm leads—no cold calling is involved. Representatives consult directly with customers to understand their insurance needs and expertly recommend appropriate products to convert leads into policyholders.
This position offers a competitive starting base salary of $45,000 with lucrative earning potential ranging between $55,000 and $75,000 through commissions, with top performers earning over $85,000 annually. The role supports flexible work arrangements including remote options, requiring candidates to maintain a professional home workspace with a high-speed wired internet connection. Work schedules involve four weekdays and one weekend day, with multiple shift options available.
The ideal candidate demonstrates a passion for sales, effective communication, reliability, and integrity. They serve as front-line brand ambassadors, adeptly relating insurance products to customer needs while fostering strong relationships built on trust. Liberty Mutual supports its sales representatives with all necessary equipment, ongoing recognition programs, and a culture focused on work-life balance and employee growth.
Liberty Mutual is an equal opportunity employer committed to providing an inclusive environment free from discrimination and fostering a culture of respect and collaboration across all levels. The company’s pay philosophy is competitive and transparent, designed to reward skill, experience, and performance while offering opportunities for career progression. This role is an excellent opportunity for individuals looking to develop a rewarding insurance sales career with a respected leader in the insurance industry.
