Job Description

Liberty Mutual Insurance is a globally recognized insurance company dedicated to helping people embrace today and confidently pursue tomorrow. Founded over a century ago, Liberty Mutual has grown into a Fortune 100 company, offering a wide range of insurance products and services designed to meet the needs of individuals, families, and businesses. With a strong commitment to integrity, inclusion, and customer-centric service, Liberty Mutual empowers its employees to develop meaningful careers while making a significant impact in their communities.

As an Inside Sales Representative at Liberty Mutual, you will have the opportunity to join a dynamic team that values your unique sales talent and offers comprehensive paid training and licensing programs. This role is perfect for motivated, people-focused individuals who are passionate about helping customers find the right insurance solutions. Starting with paid training in a remote environment, you will engage with inbound calls and warm leads, consulting customers on their insurance needs, and guiding them toward suitable coverage options. You won't be making cold calls – the focus is on quality leads and strong customer relationships.

This position emphasizes a strong work-life balance, offering flexibility with schedule options and support for remote work. With a starting base salary of $45,000 and average earnings ranging between $55,000 to $75,000 through a combination of salary and commission, there is significant earning potential. Top performers in their second year and beyond can earn upwards of $85,000. Benefits include comprehensive medical coverage from day one, paid licensing and training, and opportunities for rewards and recognition.

The role requires holding a Property & Casualty Insurance license, yet Liberty Mutual supports unlicensed candidates by providing the necessary paid training to obtain the license. Training lasts 16 weeks for licensed hires and 18 weeks for those without a license initially. The position requires working a schedule of four weekdays and one weekend day, with shift options spanning late morning to late evening hours on the Eastern Standard Time zone.

Ideal candidates are passionate sellers who excel in interpersonal communication, persuasion, and organization. Integrity is paramount—while sales targets are important, genuine care for the customers' needs helps build trust and long-term relationships. Whether working from home or at an office, adaptability and reliability are key qualities for success. All necessary computer equipment is provided, but candidates must maintain a professional workspace with high-speed wired internet.

At Liberty Mutual, the culture centers on inclusion, valuing diverse perspectives and experiences. Employees benefit from professional development opportunities and active Employee Resource Groups. The company maintains a steadfast commitment to equal opportunity employment and fosters an environment where every team member can thrive and contribute meaningfully to the business and communities served. Joining Liberty Mutual means becoming part of a trusted brand with a supportive work environment and a future filled with growth and achievement potential.
