Job Description

Liberty Mutual Insurance is a leading global insurance company known for its commitment to customer service and innovation. As a Fortune 100 company, Liberty Mutual has built a reputation for offering comprehensive insurance solutions that protect individuals, families, and businesses alike. With a strong focus on creating an inclusive workplace culture, Liberty Mutual fosters diversity, equity, and professional growth for employees across all levels. With a presence in many states, Liberty Mutual provides a supportive environment where employees can thrive, contribute meaningful work, and develop their careers over time.

The Inside Sales Representative role at Liberty Mutual offers a unique opportunity for motivated individuals to build a rewarding career in insurance sales. This position emphasizes a customer-centric approach, where representatives handle inbound calls and warm leads, guiding customers to find insurance coverages that best meet their needs. Employees receive paid licensing training and ongoing support from day one, ensuring they have the knowledge and resources to succeed. The role supports flexible work arrangements, allowing employees to work remotely with company-provided equipment in a professional home workspace. Liberty Mutual values positivity, determination, and a persuasive personality, offering numerous opportunities for advancement and generous earning potential through base salary and commissions.

The training process spans approximately 16 weeks for licensed professionals and 18 weeks for those without prior licenses, making it accessible for individuals new to the insurance industry. The company offers competitive salary packages starting at $45,000 annually, with average earnings between $55,000 and $75,000 supplemented by commissions. Experienced top performers can earn $85,000 or more. Liberty Mutual also provides a comprehensive benefits package effective from day one, including medical coverage, paid time off, and flexible scheduling. Employees are part of a dynamic sales team where only warm inbound leads are assigned—eliminating cold calls—and enabling a focus on delivering exceptional customer experiences.

This position requires availability to work primarily weekday shifts with one weekend day, offering multiple shift options during late morning to late evening hours. Liberty Mutual hires in multiple states across the US, with specific licensing requirements based on location. The company encourages and supports diversity in all forms and maintains a zero-tolerance policy against discrimination, aligning with federal, state, and local laws. Working at Liberty Mutual means joining a community dedicated to integrity, inclusion, and professional development, all while making a tangible impact on customers' lives and the broader community. This comprehensive opportunity combines stable employment, ongoing training, competitive financial rewards, and a supportive culture for individuals passionate about insurance sales and customer service.
