Job Description
Liberty Mutual Insurance is a leading global insurance company committed to providing a wide range of insurance products and services that help people protect what matters most. As a Fortune 100 company, Liberty Mutual emphasizes a culture of inclusion, professional growth, and work-life balance. With thousands of employees across the United States and internationally, the company offers comprehensive benefits, competitive salaries, and flexible work arrangements to ensure employees feel supported and valued. Dedicated to fostering diverse perspectives and experiences, Liberty Mutual builds engaging workplace environments where every individual can thrive and contribute meaningfully to the business and their communities.
This role is for an Inside Sales Representative within Liberty Mutual's Contact Center Sales Organization. The position focuses on insured sales and customer service by engaging with inbound calls and warm leads to provide the best solutions for clients' insurance needs. The selected individuals will receive robust paid training, including licensing certification for Property and Casualty Insurance, regardless of prior licensure status. Training lasts 16 weeks for licensed hires and 18 weeks for unlicensed hires, all conducted in a remote, work-at-home environment. This role offers a starting base salary of $45,000 with the opportunity to earn between $55,000 and $75,000 through commissions and bonuses, and top performers can exceed $85,000 as their career progresses.
The Inside Sales Representative acts as a vital link between Liberty Mutual and its customers, using dedicated warm leads with no cold calling. The role requires a customer-focused attitude, persuasive skills, and the ability to educate prospective policyholders on the most appropriate insurance coverages and benefits. Working hours are structured with shifts typically from late morning to evening on weekdays plus one weekend day, supporting a balance between work commitments and personal life. Candidates must maintain a professional home workspace that meets technical requirements, including a high-speed internet connection. Employees receive all necessary computer equipment, along with comprehensive medical benefits starting the first day of employment.
Ideal candidates are motivated sales professionals with at least two years of sales or service-related experience. They possess strong interpersonal communication skills, the ability to connect meaningfully with customers, and a passion for helping people secure their financial future. Liberty Mutual values integrity, dedication, and adaptability, and the company is committed to recognizing and rewarding those who bring these qualities to the team. Join Liberty Mutual's Inside Sales team to embark on a rewarding career path that offers generous compensation, career advancement opportunities, paid training and licensing, and a supportive inclusive culture that nurtures your growth and well-being.
