Job Description
About In-N-Out Burger: In-N-Out Burger is a renowned fast food restaurant chain founded in 1948 by Harry and Esther Snyder in Baldwin Park, California. The company is privately owned and operated, guided by the Snyder family who continue to uphold the founding principles that have made In-N-Out a beloved brand for over seven decades. With a presence in multiple states including California, Nevada, Arizona, Utah, Texas, Oregon, Washington, Tennessee, Idaho, and Colorado, In-N-Out Burger has consistently maintained a simple and effective philosophy: to serve only the highest quality product, prepare it in a clean and inviting environment, and provide warm, friendly service by well-trained associates. Their commitment to fresh, made-to-order foods and exceptional customer service has earned them a loyal customer base and a reputation for excellence in the fast food industry.
About the Role: In-N-Out Burger is looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Relocation Travel Planner for a temporary full-time position based in Irvine, CA. This role is within the Travel & Events Department and reports directly to the Travel Manager. The Travel Planner will play a crucial part in coordinating and managing travel arrangements for associates who are relocating within the organization. This responsibility involves ensuring that all travel bookings—including flights, hotels, and car rentals—are accurate, compliant with corporate travel policies, and efficiently managed according to tiered program guidelines. The planner will act as the primary point of contact for corporate relocation travel-related inquiries and work closely with the HR Mobility Team to support relocating associates and their families.
The position demands a high level of professionalism, excellent communication, and the ability to manage complex itineraries with multi-segment travel requirements. The successful candidate will utilize project management tools such as Asana to organize travel requests, track progress, and maintain seamless coordination throughout the relocation process. Real-time monitoring of trips and proactive problem resolution during travel disruptions or urgent changes are vital aspects of the role. Additional responsibilities include assisting with credit card reconciliations and travel expense management, ensuring privacy and data confidentiality, and applying preferred routing based on the company’s policies and associate needs.
As a temporary, in-office role, the assignment is expected to last one year, with Monday through Friday office hours from 8:00 am to 5:00 pm. The position offers a competitive pay rate of $33.00 per hour. Candidates should be prepared for occasional overtime and on-site event support duties. Ability to travel domestically as needed is essential. Benefits are available to temporary associates after six months and include medical, dental, vision, life insurance, FSAs, 401(k)/profit-sharing plan, adoption assistance, education reimbursement, supplemental health plans, and pet insurance.
This role is ideal for individuals who thrive in fast-paced environments, enjoy multi-tasking, and are passionate about providing excellent customer service and enhancing the relocation experience for their colleagues.
