This job opening is for a Relief Teller/Customer Service Representative (Relief Teller/CSR) position, located onsite in Nashville, TN. The Relief Teller/Customer Service Representative position requires adapting to multiple banking locations and environments while maintaining a proactive and positive approach to customer interactions. The role involves opening and maintaining various types of accounts, assisting with loan applications, and educating clients about financial products such as Certificates of Deposit (CDs) and Money Market Accounts. Additionally, this position places a strong emphasis on security, ensuring all banking procedures are followed and fraud is prevented. The Relief Teller/CSR will also be responsible for generating leads by identifying client needs and referring them to appropriate banking professionals, as well as addressing client concerns promptly and professionally.

Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Teller experience preferred (6+ months)
  • Minimum 1 year of customer service experience in a business setting
  • Minimum 1 year of cash-handling experience
  • Strong customer service skills
  • Experience recommending and referring financial products
  • Solid understanding of compliance and fraud detection
  • Ability to accurately balance a cash drawer
  • Proficiency with computers, data entry, and multi-line phone systems
  • Basic math and accounting skills
  • Ability to work occasional weekends and extended hours
  • Ability to travel between banking centers
  • Ability to remain in a stationary, standing position for up to 75% of an 8-hour workday
  • Ability to review information and details at close range
