The current opportunity is within the Paley Orthopedic & Spine Institute, a prestigious entity known worldwide for its pioneering work in orthopedic and spine care. The role offered is for a Rehab Tech - Aide who will be integral to maintaining a safe, clean, and sanitary environment in the physician office setting, contributing directly to the quality of patient care and safety.

As a Rehab Tech - Aide, you will work under the direction of the Practice Manager to uphold the highest standards of cleanliness and infection control. Your responsibilities will encompass a variety of housekeeping tasks geared towards creating a safe and welcoming atmosphere for patients, visitors, and staff alike. This includes general cleaning duties such as linen delivery and removal, trash management, furniture movement, and deep cleaning of facilities. The position requires strict adherence to infection control standards and the consistent use of personal protective equipment (PPE) as per policy. The role demands meticulous attention to detail, a proactive approach to maintaining inventory and equipment functionality, and a commitment to customer service excellence.

This position is well-suited for individuals who are safety minded, detail oriented, and adaptable, with some experience in maintenance or cleaning preferred, along with a background in healthcare environments. The physical demands include light lifting, bending, stooping, and standing for extended periods, typically throughout shift lengths of up to 9.5 hours. Job Requirements

  • High School Diploma or Equivalent
  • Maintenance and/or cleaning experience preferred
  • Six months in healthcare setting preferred
  • Ability to be physically dexterous with light lifting, bending and stooping involved
  • Ability to stand for extended periods of time with shifts up to 9.5 hours

Job Duties

  • Complete general cleaning duties including linen delivery and removal, trash removal, furniture moving and deep cleaning
  • Ensure all tasks are completed safely and in adherence to infection control
  • Follow standard precautions using personal protective equipment as required
  • Remove and properly dispose of all trash throughout shift and prior to end of shift
  • Maintain clean, sanitized, and orderly work areas to contribute to a safe and uncontaminated environment
  • Understand and properly use all products and chemicals daily for assigned areas
  • Report inventory levels and any equipment issues to management
  • Participate in infection control, departmental training, organizational safety and fire safety programs
  • Provide the highest level of customer service at all times
