Job Requirements
- High school diploma or GED
- Additional education in specialized field preferred
- Some related experience or training
- Previous management experience advantageous
- Knowledge of DOT safety regulations
- Strong customer service skills
- Ability to handle confidential information
- Proficient with computer systems and software
- Good communication and organizational skills
- Ability to work under minimal supervision
- Physical ability to perform job functions including occasional lifting up to 10 pounds
Job Qualifications
- Prefer high school diploma or GED plus additional education in specialized field such as vocational trade school or two-year college
- 0-6 months of related experience and/or training
- 1-5 years of previous management experience preferred
- Strong knowledge of DOT regulations and safety compliance
- Excellent customer service and communication skills
- Proficient in data entry and document management
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines
- Detail-oriented and organized
- Experience with auditing and reporting systems such as RAIR and QHOS preferred
Job Duties
- View each new driver file and complete audit to verify DOT compliance has been met
- Process annual MVRs and Violation Review project for all employees
- Maintain physical and CDL renewals updated monthly
- Maintain the Drug Screen Compliance database and manage random and pre-employment processes
- Audit driver’s logs for Hours of Service compliance
- Produce, process, and audit reports in RAIR and QHOS systems
- Advise and counsel drivers who are in non-compliance and take appropriate action
- Process DOT inspections and ensure they are returned to issuing state in 15 days
- Maintain citation information intake and ensure payment of fines
- Process incoming Employment Verification requests
- Maintain record storage and destruction program of imaged documents
- Scan and index documents into employee files daily
- Amend, correct, and edit scanned documents
- Coordinate Safety Awards Program for Drivers
- Manage main 800-number for inbound safety and regulatory calls
- Serve as backup on switchboard for Safety and HR
- Authorize rider passes and intake Authorization trailer drop forms
- Verify and update driver’s CPAP compliance
- Maintain Obstructive Sleep Apnea program and monitor OSHA training completion
- Ensure company confidentiality
