The Professional Staff Nurse role at Tenet Healthcare is essential in upholding the organization's mission to deliver outstanding patient care. This registered nurse position involves planning, delivering, and evaluating nursing care for designated patients under the supervision of the Director or designees. The nurse performs a variety of direct and indirect patient care duties tailored to each patient’s needs. Successful candidates will be licensed Registered Nurses within the state of Florida and must possess current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification by the American Heart Association and Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) within six months of employment or transfer. They must demonstrate proficiency through successful completion of GSMC medication and EKG tests and have basic EKG knowledge. A minimum of one year of acute care experience is required to ensure the nurse can competently manage complex patient care scenarios.
