The organization serves a diverse patient population, ensuring access to quality healthcare in a compassionate and supportive environment. Their facilities are equipped with state-of-the-art resources and staffed by dedicated professionals who are passionate about making a positive difference in patients' lives.
Tenet North Cal is currently seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) specialized in Labor and Delivery to join their team in Turlock, California. This is an ongoing, full-time position with a commitment of 36 hours per week, primarily on night shifts consisting of 12-hour durations. The selected nurse will play a crucial role in providing comprehensive and patient-centered care in the labor and delivery unit. As an RN in this specialty, you will have the opportunity to collaborate closely with physicians, nurse practitioners, and other healthcare staff to ensure the safety and well-being of mothers and newborns during the delivery process.
The RN is responsible for coordinating, managing, and delivering nursing care with a focus on maternal and neonatal health. This includes monitoring fetal heart rates, assisting in operative procedures, and providing post-operative care to surgical patients. Tenet North Cal emphasizes professional nursing standards and encourages leadership within the nursing team. The RN will supervise ancillary staff and contribute to maintaining clinical quality standards. Documentation is a key part of the role, ensuring accurate medical records both in written and electronic formats. The ideal candidate will have demonstrated skills in using various medical equipment related to labor and delivery and will be adept at managing emergency situations when necessary.
This role requires a registered nurse who not only meets the licensing and certification requirements but also possesses the ability to provide compassionate, specialized care to patients of varying ages within the labor and delivery area. The position offers an opportunity to work within a supportive healthcare system dedicated to ongoing professional development and best practices in nursing. Joining Tenet North Cal means becoming part of an innovative and patient-focused environment that values teamwork, continuous learning, and high standards of clinical excellence. If you are a dedicated labor and delivery nurse seeking a rewarding career with competitive benefits and opportunities for professional growth, Tenet North Cal welcomes your application.
