Job Requirements

  • valid registered nurse license
  • basic life support certification
  • pediatric advanced life support certification
  • 2 years of nursing leadership experience
  • experience in developmental disabilities or behavioral health preferred
  • ability to manage personnel and finances
  • strong communication and interpersonal skills

Job Qualifications

  • bachelor's degree in nursing or associate's degree with grandfather status
  • minimum 2 years of progressive nursing leadership experience
  • knowledge of developmental disabilities or behavioral health preferred
  • active unrestricted registered nurse license
  • current BLS certification
  • current PALS certification
  • other relevant certifications as necessary

Job Duties

  • manage nursing practice and ensure high-quality patient care
  • oversee staff development and personnel management
  • maintain strong physician relations and collaboration
  • manage department finances and allocate resources strategically
  • support nursing team clinically as needed
  • foster teamwork and build unit pride
  • ensure compliance with clinical standards and regulatory requirements
