Job Requirements
- valid registered nurse license
- basic life support certification
- pediatric advanced life support certification
- 2 years of nursing leadership experience
- experience in developmental disabilities or behavioral health preferred
- ability to manage personnel and finances
- strong communication and interpersonal skills
Job Qualifications
- bachelor's degree in nursing or associate's degree with grandfather status
- minimum 2 years of progressive nursing leadership experience
- knowledge of developmental disabilities or behavioral health preferred
- active unrestricted registered nurse license
- current BLS certification
- current PALS certification
- other relevant certifications as necessary
Job Duties
- manage nursing practice and ensure high-quality patient care
- oversee staff development and personnel management
- maintain strong physician relations and collaboration
- manage department finances and allocate resources strategically
- support nursing team clinically as needed
- foster teamwork and build unit pride
- ensure compliance with clinical standards and regulatory requirements
