Job Description

Advocate Health is one of the largest nonprofit, integrated health systems in the United States, known for its leadership in clinical innovation, health outcomes, and value-based care across multiple states including Illinois, North Carolina, South Carolina, Georgia, Alabama, and Wisconsin. It was formed through the merger of Advocate Aurora Health and Atrium Health, with headquarters located in Charlotte, North Carolina. Serving nearly 6 million patients, Advocate Health encompasses 69 hospitals and over 1,000 care locations, and is renowned for its expertise in numerous medical specialties including cardiology, neurosciences, oncology, pediatrics, rehabilitation, organ transplants, burn treatments, and musculoskeletal programs. The health system is deeply committed to education and research with one of the nation's largest graduate medical education programs and hundreds of clinical trials, partnered through the Wake Forest University School of Medicine. Advocate Health emphasizes equitable care delivery by providing over $6 billion annually in community benefits.

The Concierge Care Division of Advocate Health offers a high-touch, membership-based ambulatory care model via five clinics in the Greater Charlotte area, combining personalized medical care with advanced technology in an environment focused on exceptional patient experience. Their services include Concierge and Executive Concierge Care with a unique physician-nurse one-on-one model allowing extended appointment times and comprehensive health evaluations. This division is focused on delivering white-glove service and wellness resources as premium perks for patients. The Float Registered Nurse (RN) role supports clinical and operational activities across all sites, closely partnering with physicians to ensure personalized, relationship-based care. This full-time position works a Monday through Friday schedule with one half-day weekly, offering no weekends, holiday shifts, or on-call responsibilities. The hours are structured from 7:30 AM to 5:00 PM with a one-hour lunch, and the half-day shift runs from 8:00 AM to 1:00 PM. The pay range for this role is $35.50 to $53.25 per hour.

The RN is a key provider within the ambulatory nursing team and plays a critical role in coordinating and delivering comprehensive, compassionate patient care in accordance with evidence-based guidelines and safety protocols. This role suits an experienced RN with a preference for autonomous ambulatory care and a dedication to creating the safest, most positive patient experience. Advocate Health supports professional growth and fosters a collaborative culture that values clinical excellence and the voice of nursing staff. The RN functions as an advocate and member of interdisciplinary teams, promoting optimal health outcomes through clinical expertise and compassion. Moreover, Advocate Health offers a rich total rewards program with competitive compensation, benefits including medical, dental, vision, retirement plans, educational assistance, and paid time off, ensuring nurses live healthy and fulfilling lives both professionally and personally.
