With headquarters in Charlotte, North Carolina, Advocate Health serves nearly 6 million patients across multiple states including Illinois, the Carolinas, Georgia, Alabama, and Wisconsin. The organization operates under multiple brand names such as Advocate Health Care in Illinois, Atrium Health in the Carolinas, Georgia, and Alabama, and Aurora Health Care in Wisconsin. It is nationally recognized for excellence in various specialties like cardiology, neurosciences, oncology, pediatrics, rehabilitation, organ transplants, burn treatments, and specialized musculoskeletal programs. Employing over 155,000 teammates in 69 hospitals and more than 1,000 care locations, Advocate Health is committed to innovation, outstanding consumer experience, and equitable care delivery, providing over $6 billion in annual community benefits. The system also supports one of the country's largest graduate medical education programs with more than 2,000 residents and fellows engaged in over 200 training programs.
The Concierge Care Division, part of Advocate Health and based in the Greater Charlotte area, offers a unique, high-touch membership-based ambulatory care model through five clinics. These clinics provide both Concierge Care and Executive Concierge Care services, characterized by a physician-to-RN ratio of 1:1, longer appointment durations, comprehensive one-day Executive Health Exams, and advanced technology designed to enhance patient experience and provide white-glove service. The division emphasizes delivering personalized, relationship-based care with an operational model that supports wellness resources as premium perks for patients.
The Float Registered Nurse (RN) within this division plays a vital clinical and operational role by working across all sites and collaborating closely with physicians. This position requires an RN who thrives in an autonomous ambulatory setting and is committed to delivering a personalized patient experience. The role features a Monday through Friday schedule with a dedicated half-day each week, no weekends, no call or holiday duties, and standard office hours from 7:30 AM to 5:00 PM with a one-hour lunch break. Half-day hours run from 7:30 AM to 1:00 PM. Pay ranges from $35.50 to $53.25 per hour depending on experience and qualifications.
The Float RN will provide comprehensive patient care by utilizing the nursing process to achieve safe, therapeutic outcomes while promoting the safest patient environment and best experience across care settings. This professional is responsible for evidence-based practice, clinical decision-making, compassionate communication, and leadership in care quality. Advocate Health’s Ambulatory Nursing team operates across a 14-county region within a vast network of over 600 care locations spanning specialties such as primary care, urgent care, infusion therapy, cardiology, neurology, orthopedics, women’s health, pediatrics, oncology, behavioral health, virtual care, and other medical fields.
Advocate Health is committed to making the workplace the best place to care for nursing professionals by fostering collaboration, inclusiveness, and professional governance. Nurses are empowered to provide innovative, high-quality care and to grow their careers within an organization dedicated to excellence. The RN position at Concierge Care offers competitive compensation and comprehensive benefits, including paid time off, medical, dental, vision, life insurance, disability coverage, retirement plans, educational assistance, and family-focused programs such as adoption support and parental leave. Advocate Health values nurse feedback and strives to maintain a culture where every nurse’s voice contributes to improving care standards, culture, and workplace satisfaction.
