Job Description
Cottage Grove Place is a distinguished senior living community dedicated to providing exemplary care and support to older adults. Situated in an environment that values dignity, respect, and the unique life stories of its residents, Cottage Grove Place stands as a beacon of compassionate senior care. The company is committed not only to the well-being of its residents but also to investing in the growth and development of its staff, recognizing that the heart of exceptional service lies in a motivated and well-supported team. With an emphasis on fostering a warm and welcoming atmosphere, Cottage Grove Place ensures that both residents and employees feel valued and appreciated. This approach has established the community as a preferred place for both living and working, where senior engagement and hospitality underpin daily operations.
The role of Hospitality Focused Registered Nurse (RN) at Cottage Grove Place is a crucial position designed for compassionate nursing professionals who are enthusiastic about senior care and hospitality. The Registered Nurse will provide direct nursing care to residents, ensuring their health, safety, and comfort at all times. In this multifaceted role, the RN will also delegate and supervise the care provided by Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs) and Oral Medication Technicians (OMTs), coordinating a collaborative approach to resident care. This position is available part-time for the first shift (6:00am-2:30pm) and either part-time or full-time during the second shift, with additional weekend package hours available, accommodating a variety of schedules. The salary range for this role is between $38.00 and $39.50 per hour, reflecting the company’s commitment to offering competitive compensation aligned with experience and responsibilities.
The responsibilities of the RN are expansive, encompassing assisting residents with activities of daily living (ADL), facilitating family and social engagement opportunities, and promoting an independent lifestyle for the residents. The RN is tasked with the identification of medical and behavioral changes amongst residents, developing and monitoring individualized care plans, and reassessing these plans to ensure optimal outcomes. Effective communication is vital in this role, as the RN provides daily reports to the Director of Nursing regarding community conditions, personnel performance, resident status, and resource needs. The Registered Nurse delivers nursing care in strict adherence to physician’s orders, recognized nursing practices, and organizational policies, ensuring each resident receives high-quality preventative, therapeutic, and rehabilitative services. This position also involves collaboration across disciplines to provide a well-rounded approach to nursing care, positioning the RN as a key contributor to the overall health and well-being of the community.
At Cottage Grove Place, the emphasis extends beyond clinical care to embrace a holistic, hospitality-centered approach. The company’s core hospitality promises ensure that every interaction reflects warmth, respect, attentiveness, accountability, and professionalism. These values create an environment where residents feel important, differences are embraced, and every need is anticipated and met with enthusiasm and promptness. The RN who joins Cottage Grove Place becomes part of this extraordinary life, where the goal is not just to perform a job but to contribute meaningfully to the dignity and quality of life of seniors.
Joining Cottage Grove Place means entering a workplace that encourages professional development, values diversity, and supports the wellness of its team members through comprehensive benefits. Full-time employees enjoy a suite of offerings including medical, dental, vision, life insurance, short-term and long-term disability insurance, flexible spending accounts, a 403(b) retirement plan, paid holidays, vacation, sick and personal time, an employee assistance program, and educational partnerships. With a strong commitment to community health, Cottage Grove Place may also inquire about vaccination status where relevant, ensuring the safety of both residents and staff.
For nursing professionals dedicated to delivering compassionate, hospitality-driven care in a supportive and enriching environment, Cottage Grove Place offers an unmatched opportunity to grow and thrive. This is a call to enthusiastic, senior care professionals eager to make a difference every day—if you are passionate about senior engagement and hospitality, Cottage Grove Place is eager to welcome you into their family.
