The role of Hospitality Focused Registered Nurse (RN) at Cottage Grove Place is a crucial position designed for compassionate nursing professionals who are enthusiastic about senior care and hospitality. The Registered Nurse will provide direct nursing care to residents, ensuring their health, safety, and comfort at all times. In this multifaceted role, the RN will also delegate and supervise the care provided by Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs) and Oral Medication Technicians (OMTs), coordinating a collaborative approach to resident care. This position is available part-time for the first shift (6:00am-2:30pm) and either part-time or full-time during the second shift, with additional weekend package hours available, accommodating a variety of schedules. The salary range for this role is between $38.00 and $39.50 per hour, reflecting the company’s commitment to offering competitive compensation aligned with experience and responsibilities.

The responsibilities of the RN are expansive, encompassing assisting residents with activities of daily living (ADL), facilitating family and social engagement opportunities, and promoting an independent lifestyle for the residents. The RN is tasked with the identification of medical and behavioral changes amongst residents, developing and monitoring individualized care plans, and reassessing these plans to ensure optimal outcomes. Effective communication is vital in this role, as the RN provides daily reports to the Director of Nursing regarding community conditions, personnel performance, resident status, and resource needs. The Registered Nurse delivers nursing care in strict adherence to physician’s orders, recognized nursing practices, and organizational policies, ensuring each resident receives high-quality preventative, therapeutic, and rehabilitative services. This position also involves collaboration across disciplines to provide a well-rounded approach to nursing care, positioning the RN as a key contributor to the overall health and well-being of the community.
