This particular role is for a Registered Nurse (RN) specializing in Preoperative Care (PreOp). It involves assessing and managing the health status of patients preparing for surgery, ensuring their safety and comfort through clinical excellence and compassionate care. The PreOp RN plays a crucial role in developing individualized perianesthesia plans, monitoring vital physiological functions, administering medications, and providing education and emotional support to patients and their families throughout the perioperative process.
