Registered Nurses at AdventHealth advocate strongly for patient safety by identifying risks and implementing preventive measures promptly. They contribute to maintaining sterile environments and adhere strictly to infection control and safety protocols. Additionally, nurses perform therapeutic and diagnostic interventions, including IV placement, wound care, catheterization, and specimen collection, while providing crucial emotional and physical support to patients and their loved ones throughout recovery.

Beyond direct patient care duties, this role entails active participation in quality improvement initiatives aimed at enhancing care quality, safety, and efficiency at the organizational level. Registered Nurses can further their careers through AdventHealth’s Clinical Ladder Program, offering salary increases up to 20% based on experience, professional development, and achievement of advancement criteria. This program is voluntary, with salary adjustments determined by eligibility and organizational guidelines.

Ideal candidates will bring excellent interpersonal skills, compassion, and professionalism. They must be self-motivated, able to work independently, and proficient in English. Knowledge of clinical equipment, procedures, and electronic medical record systems is essential.
