The role available at MetroWest Medical Center is for a Nursing leadership position reporting directly to the Chief Nursing Officer (CNO). This role provides essential leadership and support in managing nursing and specified patient care services within the hospital setting. The individual will play a pivotal part in assessing, planning, coordinating, implementing, and evaluating nursing practices at the unit level, ensuring that nursing care is delivered consistently with the highest quality standards. This leadership position holds 24/7 responsibility for the assigned areas and works closely with the CNO to maintain safe, competent, and appropriate nursing care delivery. The position supports clinical staff competency, facilitates resource management related to patient care, and serves as a role model and advocate for professional nursing practice.

The ideal candidate for this position is an experienced nurse leader with a proven track record in hospital management or as a charge nurse, exhibiting strong interpersonal and communication abilities, leadership acumen, and operational knowledge of hospital environments. A current, active registered nurse license in the relevant state is mandatory.
