Comprised of Framingham Union Hospital and Leonard Morse Hospital, the center stands out as a comprehensive medical institution providing a wide range of healthcare services. Framingham Union Hospital offers extensive health services including 24-hour emergency care, advanced cardiac care, high-tech cancer treatments, and specialized maternity care with a state-of-the-art Special Care Level IIB nursery and high-risk pregnancy services. Leonard Morse Hospital complements these services by providing dedicated behavioral health specialties, focusing on the mental health needs of the community. MetroWest Medical Center prioritizes quality and patient safety, as evidenced by their recognition from the Joint Commission with a Gold Seal of Approval. This distinction highlights their commitment to adhering to rigorous performance standards and delivering safe, effective patient care. Notably, the cardiac team at MetroWest was ranked among the top 5 percent in the nation for coronary interventional procedures in 2023 and was recognized by Healthgrades as one of America’s 100 Best Hospitals for Coronary Intervention.

The role available is a key leadership position that supports the Chief Nursing Officer (CNO) by overseeing nursing and designated patient care functions across the hospital organization. This role demands continuous responsibility (24/7) for the areas assigned by the manager, ensuring effective coordination and evaluation of nursing practices at the unit level. Acting as a vital link between the nursing staff and hospital administration, the position requires proactive leadership to support the delivery of high-quality, safe, and appropriate nursing care. The leader will actively contribute to assessing resource allocation, competency of clinical staff, and adherence to best practices in patient care. Candidates for this role must demonstrate superb interpersonal and communication skills, proven hospital operational acumen, and the ability to serve as an advocate and role model for the nursing profession. This position offers a unique opportunity to influence patient outcomes positively, promote staff development, and implement innovative healthcare solutions that align with MetroWest Medical Center’s mission to improve community health.

Compensation for this full-time role ranges from $42.30 to $84.87 per hour, depending on qualifications and experience. MetroWest Medical Center offers a robust benefits package designed to prioritize employee well-being, professional growth, and work-life balance. Benefits include medical, dental, vision, and life insurance; a 401(k) retirement savings plan with employer match; generous paid time off; career development and continuing education opportunities; health savings accounts; healthcare and dependent flexible spending accounts; employee assistance and discount programs; and voluntary benefits such as pet insurance, legal insurance, accident and critical illness insurance, long-term care, elder and childcare support, as well as auto and home insurance. The center fosters a supportive work environment where healthcare professionals can thrive and contribute meaningfully to the health and wellness of their community. Join MetroWest Medical Center to be part of a dedicated team committed to excellence in healthcare delivery and patient-centered services.
