The role at hand is a key leadership position supporting the Chief Nursing Officer (CNO) of MetroWest Medical Center, primarily responsible for all nursing and designated patient care functions across the hospital organization. This leadership role requires a compassionate and strategic thinker who will be instrumental in assessing, planning, coordinating, implementing, and evaluating nursing practices at the unit level. The position carries round-the-clock accountability for the operational areas under the manager's purview. The incumbent will assist the CNO in ensuring that high-quality, safe, and appropriate nursing care is consistently delivered while maintaining clinical staff competency and optimal management of patient care resources. Job Requirements
- active and current registered nurse license in the state of residence/practice
- academic degree in nursing
- minimum 2 years of progressive management experience in a hospital environment
- effective interpersonal and communication skills
