The role of RN Manager or Full Time Days at Abrazo Health Network is a multifaceted leadership position designed for experienced nursing professionals who thrive in dynamic clinical environments. In this role, you will oversee single or multi-department operations, managing day-to-day activities to enhance patient care and staff performance. The RN Manager is responsible for enforcing policies, supervising, orienting, and training nursing staff, while ensuring compliance with all regulatory standards. The position includes budgetary responsibilities such as monitoring expenditures and participating in departmental strategic planning. Additionally, the RN Manager plays a critical role in maintaining patient care quality by implementing and evaluating care plans, tracking customer service performance, and taking corrective actions where necessary.

Job Requirements
- Minimum of three years relevant clinical nursing experience
- Licensed as a Registered Nurse in the State of Arizona
- CPR certification required
- ACLS, PALS, or NRP certification as required by clinical area
- Ability to work under deadlines
- Strong decision-making skills
- High degree of accuracy
- Personal computer skills
- Self-motivated and able to complete tasks in a timely manner
Job Qualifications
- Nursing degree from an accredited nursing school or bachelor's degree in nursing
- Current Registered Nurse license in the State of Arizona
- CPR certification
- Specialized certifications such as ACLS, PALS, or NRP as applicable
- Preferred master’s degree in nursing
- Preferred two years of management or supervisory experience
- Preferred certifications including CCRN, PCCN, CEN, CAPA, CPAN, CNOR, maternal/family health cert, RN-BC, CRRN
Job Duties
- Manage day-to-day operations of single or multi-departments
- Direct, supervise, orient, train, and evaluate nursing staff
- Enforce policies, procedures, and standards of operation
- Develop and manage budgets including expense monitoring and payroll oversight
- Provide individualized comprehensive nursing care based on nursing process
- Approve timekeeping, employee evaluations, and supply orders
- Establish mechanisms to track customer service performance and implement corrective actions
- Participate in interview, selection, and orientation of new team members
- Handle unusual occurrences by completing reports and instituting measures
- Lead employee management including staffing schedules, performance coaching, and competency assessments
- Maintain departmental confidentiality and ethical standards
- Coordinate and participate in committees and survey readiness activities
