The opportunity at hand is for a Full Time Registered Nurse (RN) position at the Volusia County Jail in Daytona Beach, Florida. In this role, RNs are expected to deliver quality care consistent with the scope of practice defined by the state nurse practice act. They are responsible for supervising nursing activities, ensuring safety, and acting as patient advocates. The Registered Nurse will work closely with other healthcare professionals to plan and implement individualized patient care plans, monitor patient conditions, administer medications, and educate patients on health topics such as disease prevention and health maintenance.
