With a commitment to helping people achieve financial security and peace of mind, Pacific Life supports clients through significant life events including retirement planning, family protection, and wealth management. Known for its strong corporate culture and dedication to employee development, Pacific Life promotes growth from within and fosters a diverse and inclusive workplace where authentic engagement and career advancement are encouraged. The company operates with a forward-thinking approach, leveraging innovative technology and structured support to meet the evolving needs of its customers and employees alike.
The role of Registered Financial Services Representative at Pacific Life, based in Charlotte, NC, offers a unique opportunity for individuals holding a Series 6 or 7 FINRA registration to bring their expertise to a meaningful, client-centered position. This fully inbound role focuses on assisting policyholders and financial professionals through crucial financial decisions such as protecting families, planning for retirement, or addressing life changes. There is no cold calling, no sales quotas, and no need to maintain a book of business, ensuring the role’s primary focus remains on delivering accurate information and service excellence.
This position involves managing a high volume of approximately 40 to 60 inbound calls per day with a blend of personalized service and operational efficiency. Representatives provide detailed guidance on policy transactions, account activities, and product information while diligently researching and resolving service requests. The role requires navigating multiple internal systems to maintain up-to-date documentation and partnering with other teams to ensure timely and accurate resolutions. Immediate transition into a hybrid work schedule—one day in office per week—supports work-life balance and fosters team collaboration.
Pacific Life emphasizes career progression, with many current leadership and team lead roles having started in similar positions. The company offers a clear pathway for advancement and encourages employees who enjoy helping people, communicating effectively, and thriving in fast-paced, dynamic environments. The organization values adaptability, problem-solving skills, and the ability to manage multiple tasks with organization and professionalism.
Starting compensation varies by level, with specialist roles offering $30 - $32 per hour and senior specialists earning $33 - $35 per hour. Employees are also eligible for additional incentive pay based on performance and other factors. Pacific Life’s comprehensive benefits package begins on day one, including medical, dental, and vision coverage, paid time off, parental leave, adoption assistance, and competitive 401(k) plans with company match. The company fosters a culture where employees can be their authentic selves and thrives on creating an inclusive environment where all individuals feel supported and empowered.
By joining Pacific Life as a Registered Financial Services Representative, candidates step into a rewarding role that combines customer service excellence with professional growth opportunities, backed by a company that values integrity, development, and employee well-being.
