Known for its inclusive and welcoming workplace, Empower fosters a culture that values purpose, well-being, and work-life balance. The company offers a flexible work environment with fluid career paths, encouraging internal mobility that allows employees to chart their own paths and grow within the organization. Empower also prioritizes community engagement, with associates dedicating thousands of volunteer hours to causes that matter most to them.
Joining Empower means becoming part of a passionate team committed to helping customers gain financial freedom. The company values its employees as its most important asset and aims to create a supportive and inclusive atmosphere where everyone can thrive. As a Registered Retirement Representative at Empower, you will play a crucial role by assisting participants, employers, and third-party plan specialists with retirement plan inquiries over the phone. This remote, nationwide role requires a commitment to excellent customer service, regulatory compliance, and providing clear, accurate information to help clients manage their financial futures.
In this position, you will handle incoming calls regarding general account information, contributions, withdrawals, and product details, answer tax-related questions, and process financial transactions. You will convey complex information related to past investment returns while adhering to FINRA and SEC guidelines. The role includes assisting customers in navigating automated systems and websites to execute transactions and initiate loans. You will also run disbursement quotes, respond to managerial feedback, and participate in ongoing training to stay updated on best practices. While primarily a remote opportunity, the position requires a high-speed wired internet connection and a dedicated workspace to ensure optimal performance during training and daily operations.
Empower offers competitive compensation with a base salary range between $43,600 and $60,025, complemented by a bonus program or sales incentives where applicable. The company provides comprehensive benefits, including medical, dental, vision, and life insurance, 401(k) retirement savings with company match, tuition reimbursement, generous paid time off, paid volunteer hours, and inclusive leave of absence programs. Furthermore, employees have access to Business Resource Groups (BRGs) that encourage inclusion and collaboration across the company and communities. Empower prides itself on equal opportunity employment, welcoming applicants from diverse backgrounds and fostering a drug-free workplace environment.
