As a Registered Dietitian at Banner Health, you will play a crucial role in optimizing patient outcomes through expert nutritional care in an acute care setting. Your primary function will be to perform comprehensive nutritional assessments and develop tailored nutrition care plans to meet the complex needs of diverse patient populations. Advanced knowledge of nutrition support—including total parenteral nutrition (TPN), tube feeding calculations, and the management of parenteral macro- and micronutrients—is essential. You will work closely with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to monitor patient progress, adjust nutrition interventions, and provide thorough patient and family education. This clinical role requires independent judgment and the ability to prioritize a complex caseload effectively. Additionally, you'll contribute to continuous quality improvement initiatives, collaborate on developing nutrition standards of practice, and may serve as a mentor to new staff and interns.

This position is categorized within Facilities, Environmental Services, and Culinary departments and follows a daytime work shift. The role demands a minimum commitment of one day per week with opportunities to cover additional shifts as needed, offering candidates flexibility in their work schedules.
