This full-time nutrition-focused position based in Orlando, Florida, at the 601 E Rollins St location, offers a unique opportunity to join a purpose-minded team dedicated to improving patient outcomes through specialized nutritional care. As a key member of the healthcare team, the role involves conducting comprehensive nutrition-focused physical assessments by taking measurements, reviewing medical records, and collecting data through patient interviews. This position requires evaluating anthropometric status and other assessment data to identify potential nutrition risks, malnutrition criteria, knowledge deficits, and high-risk behaviors that may impact health. The dietitian plays a critical role in designing and implementing personalized nutrition interventions, ordering necessary treatments, and providing patient education and counseling that reflect cultural sensitivity and appropriate health literacy.

Additionally, this role includes the responsibility of performing certain clinical procedures such as placing feeding tubes and conducting indirect calorimetry studies. Monitoring and evaluating nutrition care plans to support patients in achieving nutrition goals and optimal health outcomes is central to the position. The dietitian will also supervise dietetic interns, technicians, and new employees, contributing to their professional development. Active participation in collaborative patient care rounds alongside physicians, nurses, and other health professionals is crucial to creating comprehensive and effective nutrition plans.
