Currently, we are seeking motivated individuals to join our team as Butchers. This role is pivotal in maintaining the high standards of our kitchen and ensuring that each cut of meat meets our quality benchmarks. As a Butcher, you will be responsible for preparing and processing meat products with precision and care. You will handle tasks from receiving and inspecting meat deliveries to cutting, boning, and grinding according to our established procedures. The role demands meticulous attention to detail in weighing, wrapping, labeling, and storing meat to maintain freshness and safety.

A successful candidate will comply with all storage standards, contribute to inventory management, and participate in waste reduction practices. Hygiene is paramount; therefore, cleaning equipment and work areas following stringent sanitation guidelines is an essential part of the job. Job Requirements

Job Duties

  • Sharpen and adjust cutting equipment
  • receive, inspect, and store meat upon delivery
  • cut, bone, or grind pieces of meat
  • weigh, wrap, label and store cuts of meat
  • know and comply with proper storage standards
  • participate in product rotation, inventory, waste management and ordering of product
  • clean equipment and work areas according to sanitation standards
