The role of Regional Vice President, Luxury at Marriott International is a senior leadership position responsible for overseeing a subset of luxury hotel operations across prominent brands like Edition, St. Regis, Ritz Carlton, W, and Bulgari. This pivotal role entails ensuring the implementation and execution of luxury brand service strategies and initiatives tailored to meet or exceed guest expectations within the designated area. The Regional Vice President will partner closely with General Managers, Market Assistant Vice Presidents, and Assistant General Managers to align operations, drive financial performance, and deliver exceptional customer satisfaction. Key responsibilities include maintaining brand standards, leveraging centralized corporate services for operational excellence, conducting comparative analyses to share best practices, supporting new hotel development, and delivering balanced scorecard results.
Additionally, this role is expected to manage talent by overseeing the selection, performance management, and development of property General Managers and their teams. It also involves critical financial stewardship of the portfolio’s P&L, capital expenditures, cost containment, and collaboration with Human Resources and Sales & Marketing to drive revenue. The Regional Vice President acts as the primary liaison for owner relations, balancing owner interests with corporate goals, and managing escalation for owner-related issues.
A key aspect of the role includes serving as the primary point of contact for luxury brand standards and culture within the continent team, as well as acting as a secondary spokesperson for external media focused on brand initiatives and products. The ideal candidate will have over 10 years of progressive hotel industry experience, preferably with multi-unit leadership and international exposure, excellent skills across food and beverage, event management, revenue management, human resources, and quality assurance. They must demonstrate the ability to operate effectively in a matrix organization, manage multiple complex projects simultaneously, and deliver results despite adversity.

Job Duties
- Maintain brand standards and drive brand differentiation for assigned lodging brands within area
- Utilize property, continent, and centralized corporate services to ensure operational excellence
- Conduct comparative analyses and gather/share best practices to gain efficiency and productivity in hotel operations across the continent
- Collaborate on new hotel development
