The Regional Support Manager role at HomeTowne Studios entails a leadership position responsible for managing multiple aspects of hotel operations to ensure the properties meet the company’s standards of quality and service. In this role, the Regional Support Manager oversees functional areas including front desk operations, housekeeping, maintenance, laundry, and sales. The manager is responsible for recruiting, hiring, training, and leading employees to exceed service and quality expectations while maintaining compliance with all regulatory and company policies. Travel up to 75 percent is expected to support operations at various property locations.
The position encompasses operational tasks such as inspecting hotel rooms, public areas, and exterior grounds to ensure cleanliness and orderliness. Managing budgets by controlling costs through forecasting, labor management, and profit and loss accountability is also key. Job Requirements
- 2 years of management experience preferred
- Experience in extended stay hotels, restaurant or retail management preferred
- Self-motivated with ability to work without supervision
- Understanding of profit and loss statements and budgeting experience preferred
- Ability to lead a team and strong leadership skills
- Willing to travel up to 75 percent
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Job Qualifications
- Prefer 2 years of management experience, preferably in extended stay hotels, restaurant or retail management
- Must be self-motivated and have the ability to work without direct supervision
- Understanding profit and loss statements and budgeting experience preferred
- Ability and drive to lead a team and have the attitude for success
Job Duties
- Maintain the hotel’s quality by inspecting rooms, public access areas, and outside grounds for cleanliness and order
- Responsible for the management of the front desk, housekeeping, maintenance, laundry and sales at the hotel
- Recruit, hire, train and lead employees to meet and exceed service and quality
- Coach, counsel and motivate all employees as necessary
- Ensure compliance of federal, state, local and company requirements
- Control costs effectively to meet budget guidelines through forecasting, labor control and overall profit and loss performance
- Manage property inventory and ordering of supplies to ensure proper stock levels are maintained while remaining within budget
- Manage the daily, weekly and monthly administrative functions including scheduling, labor reporting, night audit verification, payroll and responding to guest reviews
- Assist the General Manager with guest complaints and evictions
- Travel up to 75 percent
- Perform all other duties as assigned
