Job Requirements

  • Minimum 7-10 years of progressive experience in special events, casino marketing, entertainment operations, hospitality, or large-scale promotions
  • minimum 3-5 years of leadership experience managing teams, vendors, and cross-functional event operations
  • experience overseeing high-volume, fast-paced event environments with multiple simultaneous initiatives
  • strong understanding of casino operations, gaming compliance, hospitality operations, and promotional execution preferred
  • ability to obtain a Nevada Gaming License
  • must be able to work independently
  • must be fluent and literate in English
  • must be able to respond calmly and make rational decisions, when handling guest and employee conflicts
  • must be able to maneuver from floor to floor via stairways (minimum of 200 steps) or by escalator
  • must be able to stand for prolonged periods of time (6 to 10 hours)
  • must be able to walk long distances
  • must be able to lift and carry a minimum of 25 pounds
  • must have manual dexterity to stoop, bend, twist, grab, grip, type, pull, hold, tear, sort, and reach, as well as operate office and computer equipment
  • must be able to tolerate areas containing secondhand smoke, dust, loud noises and bright lights
  • must be able to work outdoors and in varying temperatures including extreme heat and humidity
  • must be able to work a varied schedule to include weekends, nights and holidays

Job Qualifications

  • experience overseeing high-volume, fast-paced event environments with multiple simultaneous initiatives
  • strong understanding of casino operations, gaming compliance, hospitality operations, and promotional execution preferred
  • senior-level organizational and project management skills
  • strong financial insight including budgeting, forecasting, reconciliation, and ROI analysis
  • exceptional communication, leadership, and stakeholder management abilities
  • ability to prioritize multiple large-scale projects under tight timelines with minimal supervision
  • high attention to detail with strong operational discipline and follow-through
  • ability to lead calmly and decisively in high-pressure live-event environments
  • advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office, event management systems, reporting tools, and operational tracking platforms
